Can we have a unique display label to a custom field in a custom object based on Record Type?

In ERP Cloud, there is a provision for DFF's to be configured based on the Context. Each DFF can be configured to have a unique Display Label for each context and other functionalities. Similar to this use case; in Sales Cloud can we have a Custom field label be unique for each Record Type.

Or are there any alternatives to have a same Custom Field being reused to store different data values for each Record Type. [Data type would be the same across Record Types]
