Using Task Manager

How to manage data input on some accounts, for a period of time, and not on others using tasks

Hello,

I would like to use tasks to manage the data input process. In example, I would like that at the start of a monthly closing, first day of a month, Users can input data on some accounts and not others. When Users complete data input, I need that those accounts cannont be edited. The second day of the monthly closing, Users can input on others accounts and so on.

Is it possible to manage that process using Task Manager?
