21b Upgrade causes Data Models to Fail

21b upgrade has failed testing because of failed to load servlet/dmvalidate error

We have had 21b on our 3 test environments and it caused an issue that if we try to save/edit some of our existing data models we get an we get an error 

failed to load servlet/dmvalidate. 

We then get disconnected from the environment, but not just this environment but all the test environments.

we currently have an Open SR but it is still unresolved after 3 days so we are postponing the upgrade.
