To upload file inside a document folder through POST API

Hi team,

We are trying to upload a file as per the documented api /documents/api/1.1/files/data/

where we replaced the endpoints after documents with /documents/test/data. Is it necessary to provide the above enpoint such as /api/1.1/files/data in the url ? We have created the folder test and data , including them inside the above API. after hitting the API, its showing status 200 OK wherein it should have showed status 201.

Please suggest in what ways should we resolve this issue.
