Absence Approval Rules - Unique for Application Roles

Summary:

How to create different approval rules for application roles in transaction console

Content (required):

Hello,

I am trying to create a unique approval flow when an absence is entered by a manager vs. an absence administrator for a specific absence type.

I have successfully been able to apply approval rules for specific absence types, however, I am unable to configure a separate approval flow for each role.

Specifically, if the absence is entered by a manager it should flow to the absence admin for approval, and then other roles will receive FYI notifications once it is approved by the admin. The alternative case is that if it is entered by an absence admin, it does not need to be approved but FYI notifications should also flow to the other roles. Since there needs to be FYI notifications to other roles, turning off approval processing for the admins will not solve the issue.

Howdy, Stranger!
