OAuth 2.0 Encryption REST API

I see EPM Automate having an update for encrypting OAuth2.0 refresh token and client ID for accessing OCI (Gen 2) EPM Cloud environments. Is there a plan to include a REST API as well for this?

I see EPM Automate having an update for encrypting OAuth2.0 refresh token and client ID for accessing OCI (Gen 2) EPM Cloud environments. Is there a plan to include a REST API as well for this? We use only REST as of now unable to use automate as it needs a password file to be saved in the place. So question is how to use encryption using REST as well
