learning how to track learner class attendance from beginning and stopping in the middle?

Hello ,

In learning we would like to track the time the learner attendance of the class , and the time he completed or stopped in the middle of the class.(and didn't complete the class)

How can we track the time he attended the class ?

The idea is to cross the information given in the work time of the person (start and end time ) to the time he was spending on attending the class.
