Is there a way to derive grade rate based on grade and any other Assignment field ?

Summary:

Business has a requirement to derive grade rates based on grades and an assignment DFF field. Is there a way to achieve this ? I am sure we can do it based on grade and any overriding can be done using Salary Range Differentials which can be set based on the 5 criteria of location, BU and Comp Zone and a combination of them. But is there any way we can create grade rates based on anything other than grade ?
