Control over the Renewed Subscription Numbering

Summary:

We have set up AutoNumbering of Subscriptions and when renewals are done we would like to control how those renewal subscription numbers are generated.

For Renewals Subscriptions is it possible to have a different format for Subscription apart from the actual sequencing?

Like a Suffix Number added onto the actual Contract Number.

Ex: 

Source Contract # : BU1-37003

Renewed Contract # : BU1-37003_Renew1

or any other way to specify they are renewal of some original subscription.
