Is it possible to create multiple payment batches that use the same payment group?

Summary of the question:

The customer is requiring the possibility to have 2 payment batches created simultaneously on the same payment group and period. The reason is because there are more users which work on payment batches and the work of one of them stops the work of the other when payment batches are created.

Does it exist the possibility to enable users to create simultaneously multiple payment batches that use the same payment group?
