Summary: We added a kit item to a subscription. Kit items have component items that are defined via item configuration in Product Information Management. When we sent the kit item to revenue management using "Send Subscription Revenue Information to Oracle Revenue Management", the component items did not show up on the revenue contract. Is there a way to burst out kit components on a subscription that is interfaced to revenue management?



Content (required): When we add a kit item to a sales order, and send the sales order to RMCS using the "Extract Sales Orders for Revenue Management" job, kit item components are burst out on the revenue contact. However, the same is not true when we add a kit item to a subscription, and send it to RMCS using the "Send Subscription Revenue Information to Oracle Revenue Management" job. I am not sure why there is an inconsistency here; in most cases, revenue management needs to allocate the kit price to the component items.
