How to handle manager terminations during a comp cycle using global modeling & manager-level budget
Hello Experts,
We are currently utilizing modeling with a manager-level budgeting method. We have come across a use case that we are not sure how to handle. We published our budgets to managers. After the budgets were published, a manager was terminated and their direct reports were re-assigned to another manager. Because we are using manager-level budgeting, the budget was not automatically re-allocated to the new manager. Instead, it appears the budget that was allocated to the manager that was terminated is now 'lost' and we are not able to locate it.
I tried to manually re-allocate the terminated manager's budget to the new manager's budget but I am receiving an error stating that I am over budget.
