Need more information on Save Document Upon Printing - Desktop

There is one option "Save Document Upon Printing - Desktop" on print type action. Whenever the print type action trigger the document got attached to the attachment attribute using this option.

We like to know the order of operation of "Save Document Upon Printing - Desktop". I mean when print action get clicked does the file get saved after all modify, adv modify code has run or before ?
