Is there a REST API/SOAP service use to Cancel Sales Order header status

Summary: Client want to cancel bulk Sales Order numbers submitted for processing as they no longer want to process the sales order anymore

Content (required):We have so many sales order that has been submitted for Processing and clients do not want to work on those sales order numbers anymore and want them cancelled so due to the large volumes of sales order number it will be a daunting task trying to cancel them one after the other so we want to cancel the sales order header status using a REST API or SOAP service are there any? If yes please I will a Complete request body or documentation for it
