Transfer PO distribution additional information

Regarding "Transfer PO distribution additional information" in Manage Invoice Options:

We enabled "Transfer PO distribution additional information" expecting PO Dist flexfields to be transferred from PO Dist to AP Invoice Dist, which is happening as expected. However, we also see Receiving Transaction flexfields are transferred to AP Invoice Line, which was not expected by us and it is causing some errors (since we do not have AP Invoice Lines flexfields set up the same way as Receiving Transaction flexfields).

All documentation I see regarding "Transfer PO distribution additional information" just mentions PO Dist flexfields to AP Invoice Dist, nothing related to Receiving Transactions and AP Invoice Lines.
