How to add sequence number & date in BI excel template

Hi,

I have developed a Data model and attached an Excel template in BI. I am able to generate the data as expected. However; we have a requirement to add a sequence number column in the output (excel format). Is there any syntax to add sequence number column directly in the excel template without adding rownum in the DM as my DM model having many columns in the sub query (eg. select * from (select col1,col2, col3, etc..). Hence I am looking for a way to add the excel template itself.

Also, how can i add the report run date in the excel template.
