Create Award API - Multi Assignment PI Error

Summary:

We are trying to create awards via the API - with have some Employees with multiple assignments under their HCM record. Have added to Grants Personnel and can manually create an award in the UI however receive error message if use api.

When creating an award via the REST API, we are getting an error setting the principal investigator where that person has multiple employment records attached to their person record. The error message is “Applying List binding LOV_PrincipalInvestigatorId with given set of values leafs to multiple matching rows for a row of type:AwardVO”.
