Overall Summary Calculated Rating to Factor in a Manual Section Rating

edited Oct 31, 2023 9:21PM in Performance Management 1 comment

Summary:

Hi all,

Currently, we have a performance document structured to where we are only using an overall summary calculated rating designed to average two sections based on weights:

Performance Goals Section: 45%

  • With the goals section, item ratings are solicited and a calculated section rating is derived for this section.

Competency Section: 55%

  • With the competency section, item ratings are not solicited and the manager can only provide a manual rating for the competency section.

Our goal is to utilize only the Overall Summary's manager calculated rating for the document, but we do not want item ratings to be available for the competency sections (only a manual section rating). This is affecting the calculations for the overall summary as the competency section does not have a calculated rating for the section to provide for the overall summary.

Howdy, Stranger!
