Summary:

We are exploring ending enrollments using eligibility profile criteria and the Evaluate Unrestricted Event Participation process.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We are testing adding a benefit group eligibility profile group to our unrestricted program. When we put someone into the benefit group and run the Evaluate Unrestricted Event Participation process, the employee received the Unrestricted life event as expected.

Pay periods:

12/10/23 - 12/23/23

12/24/23 - 1/6/24

1/7/24 - 1/20/24

So I processed the original enrollment using an occurred date of 12/12/23 and the system picked 12/24/23 as the rate start date. This is good and what we want. When I processed the end eligibility life event using an occurred date of 1/17/24, the system picked 1/20/24 as the rate end date, the end of that given pay period. My question is, where is that setup configured, for the rate end date? Is that just part of the Evaluate Unrestricted Event Participation process or configured somewhere in the system?

Howdy, Stranger!
