Missing "None" Option in Configuration Layout API response

We have several configuration attributes that are not required to configure a product.

Within the CPQ interface, a None option exists in the Single Select Pick List.

However, when querying the Configuration Layout API, there is not a none option available in the SSPL. We find this odd considering the CPQ UI features a none option.


Is there a flag, parameter or other setting we must set to receive "None" in the Configuation Layout API response?
