External Data Loader Client - Journal Upload

We are currently looking over the possibility of using the EDLC to upload journals from external sources into Fusion, as there is a dependency on splitting the files beforehand that we are looking to remove as this external source does not have the capabilities of splitting these files currently. However, upon looking through the EDLC we noticed that it appears to only function for a handful of objects, which the general ledger does not appear to be a part of. We were looking for guidance towards a best practice of how to upload external journals that are over maximum allowed
