Best way to create reports from Oracle General Ledger data?

What's the recommended approach for building custom reports from Oracle General Ledger data.I'm building a custom periodic trial balance report in Oracle. I need to include sales revenue, COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), and asset depreciation, all sourced from the General Ledger.
what's the best tool for that?
