Absence type duration not considering the published schedule changes

Summary:

Absence type duration not considering the published schedule changes

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement, to calculate the absence type duration based on schedule precedence. If employee has published schedule (any shift overrides etc), the absence type duration should calculate based on published schedule, else it should consider 'Work Schedule assignment' shifts.

Absence type definition level 'Schedule Hierarchy Start Point' , we have not selected any value to follow application precedence.

Published schedule

Work Schedule assignment

Assignment Hours etc.

But it is always considering the work schedule shifts only.

Could you please share any inputs.

Howdy, Stranger!
