Valueset and DFF setup to automatically update a DFF

Summary:

Is there a way to set up the a DFF linked to valueset to automatically populate any updates made in the valueset? Currently, I have 2 DFFs created, the second DFF is populated with values based on the selected value the 1st DFF has. After the user updates the valueset and they then have to go into the Oracle UI to where that DFF is present and the 2nd DFF is blank and they have to manually select the new value. I would like to setup the DFF and valusets in a way so the user does not have to
