How to stop report execution from a custom script?

Hi Everyone,

I have the requirement where the bulk update data is needed within the Agent Console. I have written created a Custom script.
The script is funtioning correctly, but I want to stop the execution in between by using a Stop button.

For example: Suppose the report has 69k data and it is getting updated through the custom script. I want to interuppt/stop the exuction but even after manually stopping the script it is still running in the background and commiting the data changes.

Please provide any suggestion to achieve the same.
