Data format recommendations for HDL loaders for Non-Catalog learn items

Summary:

Data format recommendations for HDL loaders for Non-Catalog learn items.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Hello

We are wanting to load external completions of a courses taken outside of Oracle and am investigating the use of non-catalog items to do this using HDL, as this will enable us to upload the data on a weekly/monthly basis from the other system.

We have created the non-catalog item using a HDL (NoncatalogLearningItem.dat). This HDL asks for a ‘LearningItemnumber’.

I can see that courses that are created in Oracle have a prefix of OLC. Are there any recommendations on what should be used for the ‘LearningItemnumber’ when loading through a HDL?

Howdy, Stranger!
