sql to fetch organizations or departments based on business unit

edited Nov 13, 2024 8:15AM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Hi Team,

We are trying to write sql to fetch all organization or departments for a business unit. But we dont know how to link organizations to business unit. To tell you the purpose of this, we have requirement to build two prompts in a BIP report - one for BU and other for Organization. When user inputs/selects a BU value in BU prompt, Organization prompt should show only organizations which are linked to BU selected in BU prompt.
Table HR_ALL_ORGANIZATION_UNITS_F does not have business unit field. We dont know how to establish a connection between BU and organization. We need to write sql. We cant use OTBI/subject area. Please help us in this asap.

Howdy, Stranger!
