Can someone ELI5 what does Field Service transitioning to Fusion application means?

As per the recent announcement, Oracle Field Service will complete its transition to a fully native Fusion application. What does that exactly mean technically and functionally? What males Fusion application distinct from OFS?

Additionally, since all Fusion applications, such as Sales, Service, and HCM, are accessible through a unified URL, does this mean OFS will also become accessible via the same URL?

Whenever I think of Fusion apps, I envision the Homepage, Setup & Maintenance, and Navigator. I’m struggling to understand what changes will occur if OFS becomes a Fusion application. For instance, will it allow page editing using Visual Builder Studio (VBS)?
