Column shrunk to 0 width, can't select it to increase it!

Some of our staff are keen on a lot of columns in a report so that they can see them all once it's exported, this means that sometimes column widths accidentally go down to zero, though not technically "hidden".

The problem is I now cannot select the zero width columns if I want to do anything with them, eg change the order of columns, or if I were to want to change the column itself.

It does not appear in design mode or when the report is run, only when exported. How can I get hold of it to change it?!
