Custom Report returning duplicate search results

Hello dears,

I have created a custom incident report by copying the 'Today's Incidents' report and enabled it in my profile navigation set. The report has the same filters and permissions as the generic 'Today's Incidents' report and should run according to the same search criteria (it just shows different columns).

However, the problem is that when I run my custom report it returns duplicates of the same incidents opened, i.e., it should return a list of today's incidents but each incident is recorded 3 times so I end up having a list 3 times as long as the one I should have.
