Instructions on implementing back in stock notifications on the PDP and configuring corresponding email.

Content

It is a best practice to implement a way for shoppers to sign up to be notified when an out of stock product is back in stock, if your store does not allow for ordering back-ordered items. This feature not only helps capture future sales and ensures that interested shoppers are able to buy what they're looking for at a later date, but it can help with inventory forecasting of popular items.

See the attached pdf for instructions on implementing back in stock notifications on the PDP of your OCC site and configuring the corresponding automated email that gets sent when an item that was out of stock is back in stock.
