Someone else has had to think about this - allowing a user to enroll in only one of a bank of enroll
Summary
We get this ask all the time - but it is actually contrary to an open enrollment systemContent
Here’s the challenge:
People get put into multiple enrollments or sign up for multiple ones when they only intend (or need) to attend one.
For example? There are three courses on “Cleaning Bathrooms”.
The person only needs to attend one. But they sign up for the two “cleaning bathrooms” because of many operational / logistical reasons:
- availability
- holding a seat
Where we tell people please only hold one seat at a time? I get asked all the time if the system can be configured to “only register for only one” of a certain type of enrollment. After enrolling ideally it would be good to limit a person from registering in any of the other same course.
