Back in Stock Notifications allow merchants to use a custom widget to add a “Notify Me” link on a Product Detail
page when a SKU is out of stock. Capturing the email addresses of shoppers interested in an out of stock
item ensures merchants don't lose a sale and helps quantify interest on the product. Once an email address
is captured, a confirmation message informs the shopper that s/he will receive a message when the product
becomes available. When back in stock, the shopper receives a notification email with a link to the product,
