Overtime Calculation When Employee Is Not On Shift
Summary:
Overtime Calculation When Employee Is Not On Shift
Content (required):
Hello All,
I will appreciate your support on the following:
Employees have shifts:
Morning Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
Night Shift: 04:00 PM – 10:00 PM
For a specific day, an Employee can be on the Morning Shift and/or Night Shift.
In case the employee is only on the Morning Shift 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM and works after 04:00 PM the corresponding hours are paid at a rate of 1.5.
Using the Time Calculation Rule Fast Formula, is there a way to know if the reported times (for e.g. 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM) are within the employee’s assigned shifts start and shifts end time for a specific day?
