Seed interview with basic text value

Unable to get the seeding to work using the examples.

I am trying to pass a text value (model) via seedData in the URL to preselect a model in order to cshow the data for that model as soon as the interview loads. I've looked at the following. Examples: Start an interview with global data (custhelp.com)

I've created a basic attribute and set it as <url_parameter>, deployed the project and then loaded the CP page containing an iframe with the copied code from oracle support pages and referenced the correct URL (for example, https://opalive-opa.custhelp.com/web-determinations/startsession/HealthyEating/en-GB
