We have a privacy concern line management of an employee.

Summary:

Hi,

We have a requirement

if the line management of an employee went outside the country (e.g. UK) then the employee’s salary can only be visible up two levels of managers (i.e. the direct line manager of the employee, LM+1 and LM+2).

This was also a risk that we recognized more broadly and had started to investigate further as there was already some challenges being raised with regards to the current config whereby a LM can see salary (and other personal information such as leave comments) for any of the employees within their line management chain. So in theory our global CEO could go into Oracle and see personal information of any employee in the entire business.

Howdy, Stranger!
