Is there a way to not populate any text in the subscription number field during creation?

Summary of the question:

Is there a way to not populate any subscription number in the subscription number field during subscription creation?

Example:

1. Navigate to Subscription Management

2. Click on Create Subscription 

3. On the subscription landing page the Subscription Number must be blank

Goal: To disable Document sequencing such that no Subscription Number is populated on the landing page
