Service Dates on PO/Receipts for Invoicing in installments with Accrue at Receipt turned on
Summary: Hello experts. can you answer a few questions please? We are in the process of testing out setting up Accruals to At Receipt and the business is asking how to properly create POs/Receive/Invoice service based PO's that pay out over time so they can see how much has accrued during a single period or month or schedule. Does that make sense? There are no service date fields in the requisition or PO pages I’ve noticed. [Also, I'm having difficulty creating PO's with multiple schedules if that is an option.]
The business is not able to see the period an invoice is for. Scenario: A service PO is entered for $300 and it is for a subscription that will be billed monthly at $100 for 3 months. Requester receives the full amount of $300 in the first installment period thus causing the uninvoiced amount of $200 to be accrued. The business needs a way to identify the installments dates specified on the SOW so they can calculate how much will be invoiced each installment period.
