Period name - Source filter in Data load rule

Summary:

The EBS on-premise data base is integrated with FCC using the EIA agent . We have used the EBS adaptor for the integration which internally uses two parameters - ledger and period (The EBS period is in Upper case) . To execute a data load the source period has to update every time . Is there a way to synchronic the source period and the target period so that every time a data load is to be executed the user do not have to update the source period ( which is upper case) and target period separately . I have tried the period mappings
