Creating a system account not attached to a person record

Summary:

We want to create accounts without creating a worker that can be used as service accounts.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

We have both ERP/Financials and HCM modules active in our environment. For the Financials side we need some system accounts that will be designed for purpose (mainly REST API usage, we're seggregating subject areas), but we don't want them to show up as 'persons' in the HCM side of the application.

Before our HCM implementation we could go to Manage Users and create them there manually. Now, it's mandatory to fill worker type and some other related HCM fields. I tried in our test environment and a person record and work relationship are created. How can I prevent this from happening?

Howdy, Stranger!
