replacing image with value

We would like to replace the 'checkmark' in the standard 'Survey Responses by Contact' report with a value.  The reason being that the checkmark is an image and when you export this report to Excel you cannot perform computations on an image.

Can anyone tell me how to change the checkmark to a value?
