For the customers who use Oracle HCM Cloud as the human resource management system and use the third party Payroll as the payroll system, the two systems need to work together seamlessly. You could build the integration by programming or using various integration tools based on the API provided by the two systems.

Oracle Global Payroll Interface V2 (GPI) offers many options for being the basis of an integration between the HCM Cloud and the 3rd party Payroll system. In some cases depending on the capabilities of the Payroll vendor, additional transformation of the data payload is required to format the data payload into a format acceptable by the Payroll vendor. This document depicts an example payload transformation using the Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to both orchestrate and transform the data.
