Is there a way to automatically have a notification sent to eligible managers after batch process?

My client needs an automated way to notify managers when their employee(s) have a performance document created for them

Content (required):

I have a client that sends out performance documents everyday because their performance review is based on probation end date. We will schedule a batch process to run everyday to assign the documents to the manager. I know there is the send email notification feature in the Performance Documents section but is there an automated way to send a notification to the manager of the employees that a performance document was created for? It will be too much work for them to manually send the notification everyday.
