Release 21A Revision 9 introduces enhancements to Oracle Commerce access control for business users. We've created two documents (both attached) to help you understand what we've added and changed, and how to implement role-based access control for business users.

  • Understanding Role-Based Access Control for Oracle Commerce Business Users explains the new concepts and provides an overview of how to use the new capabilities.
     
  • How to Implement Role-Based Access Control for Oracle Commerce Business Users provides a step by step explanation of how to implement role-based access control using a simple scenario example where a merchant sells apparel and home decor on two sites managed by separate teams. It covers using the UI and APIs to accomplish the tasks needed to set up access control for this merchant's business users.
