Coverage start date and previous Coverage end date during Open

Hi ,
We have a requirement like this.
Employee have their prior enrollments in Medical, Dental, and Vision from prior new hire or last years open Life Event.
When Open is run for 2024 . It end dated the coverage to 12/31/2023 and created a new row with coverage start date as 1/1/24 and applied the defaults
Business don't want the current coverage to end date on 12/31 , if employee's are not changing the plan/option during open enrollment.
So say an employee is in Aetna Medical "Employee only" from 03/03/2023 (new hire) , when the Open runs (for 1/1/2024) , it should have coverage start date as 03/03/2023 when the defaults are applied .
