Interim Rule not working when employee is enrolled in Employee+Family option and adds Dependent
Hi Experts
We are seeing an issue with Interim Rules. These rules are working good as along as employee moves from one option to another. However, the interim rule fails when employee tries to add a dependent without changing the option
Employee is already enrolled in Medical plan with Employee+Family option. A dependent was added and it suspended the plan till the documents are submitted and approved.
Everyone enrolled in the plan is loosing coverage till the required documents are loaded and approved.
Please advise available options to resolve this issue. Has anyone used a FF to address this issue?
