Using ben_fn_get_char_value function to get plan and option enrolled for this period only

Hello experts,

We have a customer requirement where we need to define a primary amount (Employee Contribution) and a secondary amount (Employer Contribution).

Further details:

Plan Name: Catastrophe Cover: Employee

Plan options - Rate 2023 (Rs) - Rate 2024 (Rs):

  • 1,000,000 - 105 - 160
  • 2,000,000 - 270 - 320
  • 3,000,000 - 415 - 475
  • 4,000,000 - 520 - 640
  • 5,000,000 - 605 - 710
  • 10,000,000 - 640 - 835

The goal is as such: if an employee is of Grade 1 and Grade 2, the Employer offers nothing and the Employee pays full amount for the option they opt for.

If employee of Grade 3 and 3 for example, Employer offers to pay the first option. That is 160rs for this year. If EMP chooses to opt for a higher option, they pay the remaining amount. If he/she chooses 3rd option, ER pays 160rs and EE pays 475-160 = 315.

Howdy, Stranger!
